    This proposal was debated a few years ago before the LSBA House of Delegates. Opponents of the rule stated that some plaintiffs do not want mail sent to their home. One example was a battered woman who was waiting for her settlement to have enough money to leave her abusive spouse. There are privacy interests at stake here.
